: the open cabin BMW Farmobil is suitable as well for road than off
road.
On road, it can run up to 90 km/h. Off road, it
can climb up to 50 % upper gradient, pass over 23 cm high obstacles, 20 cm deep
holes or 50 cm waterbed.
As a car, it can carry 6 passengers, as a light
truck it can load up to 616 kg (i.e. over its own weight !).
You can drive with open roof and down windscreen.
Use it as a tractor or a golf caddy, a hunting jeep or trail a concrete mixer.
On road or in forest, as a light truck, a mobile
display, or just for fun, BMW Farmobil has no limit.
The 4 wheels are independently suspended, which enable
such agility.
Progressive suspension springs coupled to the
automatic differential guarantee a good road holding even at full load.
(With a limited handling, a rear seat for 3
passengers can be added).
A lot of extra are available.
Most interesting fact about the Farmobil is the price : standard model with front cabin, 5 all round tyres, wrenches
and defrost / heating device is only at 6.400 DM !
In forest or exhibition hall, at office or for
officials, always fast and agile, always reliable.
Lowering rear rack, BMW Farmobil becomes an
attractive market stall.
Useful for farming works, by its strong engine,
its independent suspension and automatic differential.
Hard-worker during the week, during week-end, at
camping or holidays, it becomes a good mood companion.
Also as a stationery engine, the BMW Farmobil can
be used as a mobile milk collection unit.
